It's not Vanilla android, it's Stock! The HTC One M7 came out with a Vanilla rom, it had Some Sense features integrated into the Stock Android rom.

Sorry for the confusion - we tend to use "vanilla" and "stock" interchangeably. As in vanilla ice cream - plain and unadulterated with flavour (dates from the days when vanilla flavour really wasn't any flavour at all).
